Penne Salsiccia

Serves Two


  • 1 ounce clarified butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 ounce minced garlic
  • 2 ounces olive oil
  • 2 ounces of Zia’s marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup diced red peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced red onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced green olives
  • 1/2 cup cooked sliced salsiccia
  • 8 ounces cooked penne noodles
  • 1/4 cup of freshly grated fontinella cheese


In a large skillet sauté over medium heat, butter oil, salt, black pepper, red pepper, and garlic for about one minute. Add red peppers, onion, olives and salsiccia. Sauté until vegetables are al dente then add Zia’s marinara sauce. Cook until heated through then add noodles and cheese and serve.
